Villa Bahari

Villa Bahari offers stunning views of distant mountains and looks over an immaculately manicured 18-hole parkland golf course embracing turquoise lagoons. You will be just 500m from the beaches on Al Hamra Village lagoon and the open sea. The closest pool and gym with free access is 100m away and there are at least seven other pools to choose from within the village.

Just 2km away is Al Hamra Mall where you will find an excellent western-style Spinney’s supermarket and deli, and a food hall – both of which open late. The mall has Cafe Nero and Starbucks coffee shops and many jewellery, perfume and fashion outlets. A choice of several bars and restaurants is available in the 7-star Waldorf Astoria Hotel, 5-star Al Hamra Fort Hotel, Banyan Tree Beach Hotel and Resort, Golf Club, and Al Hamra Marina. There are three duty-free off licences within the village and even one open 24 hours.

Golf at Al Hamra can be played all day or in the cool breeze of the night on the floodlit course, ideally finished with a few drinks in the lovely club house bar and restaurant terrace. For a change, visit Tower Links Golf Course in RAK City just 20km away. Special green fee discounts for Al Hamra Golf Club and Tower Links can be arranged on request.

The excitement of Dubai is only an hour away down the new E611 Outer Bypass Road or E311 Emirates Road, so daytrips are very easy. RAK itself has a brand new water park, ‘Ice Land’ – the biggest water park in the Middle East. For those preferring more traditional adventures, RAK city is about 20 km to the north and has retained a more Arabic feel than the cosmopolitan Dubai. The ancient art of pearling is being revived and you can fish for your own pearls. You can explore the mountains, take a Dhow trip to the Fjords and watch Dolphins, or have a Desert safari and go Dune bashing.
